Right Click Pop-Up Menu
Available when the current file is in a preview window.
The right click pop-up menu provides you with a quick way to insert elements and edit the properties of existing elements, such as links, images, and more. You can access the right click pop-up menu by clicking with the right mouse button anywhere on the Web page.
- Document Properties...
- Available when the current file is in a preview window.
Displays the Document Properties box of the current Web page, which allows you to customize the background image or color of the Web page, specify text color and link colors, and more.
- Element Properties...
- Displays the Properties box of the currently selected HTML element. This allows you to change the properties of that element. You can also change the properties of any elements that are parents to the currently selected element by clicking the Parent button in the box. Following is a list of Properties boxes that can be accessed and changed through this menu option:

- Paragraph Formatting

- List Items
- Links
- Horizontal Rule
- Image
- Image Map
- Table
- Table Cell
- Paragraph Properties...
- Displays the Paragraph Properties box, which allows you to change the format of the current paragraph. The current paragraph is the paragraph which contains the text cursor or a selection. You need not select the entire paragraph in order to format it.
- Character Properties...
- Displays the Character Properties box, which allows you to change the look of selected text by changing the font size, style, and color.
- Preferences...
- Displays the Preferences box, which allows you to customize Web Factory by changing any of the following options: cursor color if a background image is used; default browser to preview; whether to display properties boxes on inserting elements; whether to validate files on opening.
- Insert
- Displays the Insert sub menu, which allows you to insert any of the following elements at the cursor position:

- Delete
- Not available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
Deletes the currently selected text, image, or HTML element. If nothing is selected, it deletes the character to the right of the cursor.
- Split Horizontally
- Splits the current frame into two horizontal frames. The current frame is outlined in red, and can be selected by using the arrow keys. Or, by clicking inside the frame, if a URL (Web page address) has been assigned to the frame. If not, the New Frame box appears, asking if you want to assign a URL to the frame, or split it further.
- Split Vertically
- Splits the current frame into two vertical frames. The current frame is outlined in red, and can be selected by using the arrow keys. Or, by clicking inside the frame, if a URL (Web page address) has been assigned to the frame. If not, the New Frame box appears, asking if you want to assign a URL to the frame, or split it further.
- Delete Frame
- Available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
- Deletes the currently selected frame. The current frame is outlined in red. To select a different frame, click inside the frame you want to select (if it has already been assigned a URL), or use the arrow keys.
When a frame is deleted, the space that was previously accorded to that frame is dispersed equally to the remaining frames in the current frameset. The current frameset is the parent of the current frame, and is outlined in green. If the deleted frame was the only frame in the parent frameset, both the frame and the parent frameset will be deleted.
- Delete Frameset
- Available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
- Deletes the currently selected frameset. The current frameset is outlined in green, and is the parent of the current frame.
- Delete All Frames...
- Available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
- Deletes all frames defined on the current page and all parent framesets. This allows you to start over and select a different initial frame layout design from the New Frame Page box.
- Cut
- Not available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
- Removes the selected text and/or image(s) from your Web page and places it on the Windows clipboard, where it is stored until something else is cut or copied to the clipboard. Once a selection is cut, it can be pasted from the clipboard into another part of the same Web page, or into an entirely different Web page.
- Copy
- Not available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
Makes a copy of the selected text and/or image(s) on your Web page and places it on the Windows clipboard, where it is stored until something else is cut or copied to the clipboard. Once a selection is copied to the clipboard, it can be pasted into another part of the same Web page, or into an entirely different Web page.
- Paste
- Not available when the current file is a frame page previewed in Navigator.
Inserts a copy of the text and/or image(s) that are currently on the Windows clipboard into the Web page at the current cursor position. The contents of the clipboard can be pasted as many times as you want.
